Powertrain Analysis
The ABT Audi RSQ8-LE 1000 uses a 3,996 cc V8 engine with two turbochargers. Maximum output is rated at 1,000 HP, equivalent to 1,000 PS or 735 kW, while maximum torque is rated at 1,000 Nm.
ABT Indirect Water/Ethanol Injection technology is integrated into the forced-induction V8 specification. The water/ethanol injection system is paired with thermal-management calibration for the 1,000-HP output configuration.
Power is transferred through an 8-speed Tiptronic automatic transmission. The drivetrain uses permanent quattro all-wheel drive, distributing the 1,000 Nm torque output through all four wheels.
Chassis and Dynamics
The suspension uses ABT Level Control modified air-suspension hardware. The calibration specifies a lower ride height and reduced body roll during aggressive cornering.
The front aerodynamic package includes a revised front apron, enlarged air intakes, a carbon-fiber splitter, and a vented carbon-fiber hood insert. Carbon-fiber fender extensions and side skirts are fitted along the vehicle sides.
The rear section uses a high-downforce roof spoiler and a rear diffuser. The diffuser incorporates four exhaust outlets connected to an ABT high-performance stainless-steel exhaust system, with matte-black or carbon-fiber tailpipe finishes.
Exterior and Cabin Equipment
ABT forged alloy wheels use a gold finish and are specified for high-load performance use. The wheels are fitted with high-adhesion sports tires.
The cabin uses leather and Alcantara upholstery on the sports seats. The seat upholstery includes ABT and Legacy Edition embroidery, while carbon-fiber trim is applied to the dashboard, center console, door panels, and seat shells.
The ABT sports steering wheel combines an Alcantara rim, carbon-fiber elements, and integrated paddle shifters. The paddle shifters provide manual transmission control through the 8-speed Tiptronic automatic.
