Powertrain Analysis
The Nissan Interstar-e Relax uses an all-electric powertrain rated at up to 105 kW, equivalent to 143 hp, and 300 Nm of maximum torque. The electric system is paired with battery capacities of 40 kWh and 87 kWh.
The 40 kWh battery configuration is configured for urban delivery use. The 87 kWh battery configuration provides up to 460 km, equivalent to 286 miles, of electric driving range.
DC fast charging is rated at up to 130 kW. A charging session of approximately 30 minutes can add up to 252 km, equivalent to 156 miles, of driving range.
The digital instrument cluster displays real-time vehicle speed, energy flow and remaining battery percentage. The central touchscreen integrates navigation, media controls and smartphone connectivity.
Chassis & Dynamics
The Interstar-e Relax is built on a next-generation heavy-duty platform. Its high-roof chassis format supports the Relax configuration and its large internal cabin volume.
The Aerovan body design incorporates an aerodynamic silhouette intended to reduce drag and energy consumption. Exterior lighting includes LED daytime running lights.
Maximum payload capacity reaches 1.6 tonnes. Maximum towing capacity reaches 2.5 tonnes, with Trailer Sway Assist included in the driver-assistance suite.
Active driver-assistance equipment includes Autonomous Emergency Braking, Lane Keep Assist and Trailer Sway Assist. The cockpit also uses a multifunction steering wheel and dedicated cabin storage areas.
Dimensions & Practicality
The high-roof chassis provides the structural basis for the Relax configuration. The interior layout is configured for commercial transport use and camper-conversion applications.
Payload capacity of up to 1.6 tonnes supports cargo operation, while the 2.5-tonne towing rating expands transport capacity beyond the vehicle body. The 87 kWh battery configuration combines this utility rating with up to 460 km of electric range.
The cockpit includes premium seating designed for extended driving periods, a multifunction steering wheel, central touchscreen controls and a fully digital gauge cluster. Cabin storage solutions are integrated into the front interior layout.
