Powertrain Analysis
The Luxeed RX uses Huawei DriveONE electric propulsion hardware on an 800V high-voltage architecture. The system uses silicon carbide electric drive motors, a semiconductor configuration designed for high-voltage electric applications. The available propulsion layouts consist of a single-motor rear-wheel-drive configuration and a dual-motor intelligent all-wheel-drive configuration.
The rear-wheel-drive layout concentrates propulsion at the rear axle through one electric motor. The all-wheel-drive layout uses two electric motors to provide driven front and rear axles. Both layouts are integrated with the 800V electrical system and support high-power DC fast charging.
The intelligent driving hardware includes a roof-mounted LiDAR sensor, multi-angle high-definition cameras, and millimeter-wave radar sensors. The sensor array supports end-to-end intelligent navigation, urban pilot assistance, highway pilot assistance, and automated valet parking functions.
Chassis & Dynamics
The Luxeed RX uses an intelligent electric vehicle architecture with a multi-link independent suspension layout. Continuous damping control is integrated with adaptive air suspension, providing electronically managed damping characteristics and variable suspension support.
The exterior aerodynamic package includes a coupe-style roofline, an integrated ducktail rear spoiler, and a functional rear diffuser. The lighting hardware consists of slim matrix LED headlamps and a full-width three-dimensional LED rear light bar.
Large sport-alloy wheels, painted performance brake calipers, wide rear body sections, and the rear diffuser form the visible dynamic hardware package. The roof-mounted LiDAR pod is positioned above the windshield within the vehicle’s upper-body aerodynamic profile.
Cabin Technology
The cabin uses Huawei HarmonyOS as its intelligent cockpit operating system. The system integrates multi-device connectivity, voice interaction functions, personalized digital profiles, and high-definition floating displays.
The acoustic package combines acoustic-insulated glass with active noise management. Digital spatial audio and smart controls are integrated into a minimalist dashboard configuration centered on the display system.
