Powertrain Analysis

The Maserati Alfieri Concept uses a naturally aspirated 4.7-liter V8 with 4,691 cc displacement. Peak output is 460 HP at 7,000 rpm, while peak torque is 520 Nm, equivalent to 384 lb-ft, at 4,750 rpm.

The powertrain uses a 6-speed electro-actuated transaxle gearbox. The transaxle layout combines the gearbox with the rear axle assembly, supporting the rear-wheel-drive configuration.

Torque is delivered to the rear wheels through a limited-slip rear differential. The naturally aspirated V8, 6-speed transaxle, and rear-wheel-drive layout define the concept’s mechanical configuration.

Chassis & Dynamics

The Alfieri Concept uses a modified chassis derived from the Maserati GranTurismo MC Stradale. Its 2,700 mm wheelbase is 240 mm shorter than the GranTurismo MC Stradale wheelbase.

Braking hardware combines carbon-ceramic brake discs with high-performance Brembo calipers. The system is configured for repeated high-temperature braking loads associated with the V8 grand tourer platform.

Forged aluminum wheels measure 20 inches at the front and 21 inches at the rear. Their spoke design references wire-spoked racing wheels while retaining forged aluminum construction.

Dimensions & Practicality

The cabin uses a 2+2 seating configuration. The shortened 2,700 mm wheelbase places the Alfieri Concept below the GranTurismo MC Stradale by 240 mm between the axles.

Interior equipment includes TFT instrument displays and a central infotainment touchscreen. The floor uses an oxidized-steel-effect finish, while the upholstery combines Aniline leather, Poltrona Frau leather, and copper accents.
