Powertrain Analysis
The Super Snake Sport uses Ford’s 5.0-liter Coyote V8 architecture in a supercharged configuration rated at 810 HP. The V8 is fitted with a high-output Whipple positive-displacement supercharger and high-flow fuel injectors.
Power is transmitted through a 10-speed SelectShift automatic transmission. The available drivetrain configurations are 4×4 and 4×2 rear-wheel drive.
The exhaust system is a Shelby by Borla tuned cat-back system. The induction package combines the Whipple supercharger hardware with a dual-intake ram-air hood using functional vents for fresh-air intake and engine-bay heat extraction.
Chassis and Dynamics
The lowered Shelby sport suspension uses adjustable front coilovers and specialized rear shocks. The lowered configuration reduces ride height relative to the standard truck stance.
Rear traction bars are installed to control axle movement under acceleration. Upgraded sway bars form part of the handling package with the adjustable coilovers and rear shock hardware.
Front braking hardware consists of 6-piston performance calipers and slotted rotors. The wheel package uses 22-inch Shelby retro-styled alloy wheels fitted with high-performance street tires.
Aerodynamic components include a custom front bumper cover with integrated air splitters, fender vents, side skirts, a sport-styled rear bumper, and a hard tonneau cover with an integrated rear spoiler. Le Mans-style over-the-top stripes are applied over the exterior bodywork.
Dimensions and Practicality
The Super Snake Sport uses a two-door single-cab layout and a short-bed configuration. The bed is fitted with a functional hard tonneau cover.
The tonneau cover incorporates an integrated rear spoiler. The rear bodywork uses a sport-styled bumper below the covered short-bed area.
