The induction specification combines a Dual-Ram variable intake manifold with Bosch Motronic electronic fuel injection. Transmission options include a five-speed manual and a four-speed electronically controlled automatic. The front-engine, rear-wheel-drive layout places the inline-six longitudinally and delivers power through the rear axle. The manual-equipped 3.0 24V reaches 100 km/h from rest in approximately 7.8 seconds and has a maximum speed of up to 240 km/h.
Chassis and Dynamics
The Senator B uses an elongated version of the GM V-body platform with front-engine, rear-wheel-drive architecture.
